![]() The puzzle box may well have been opened! This will join existing Dead By Daylight crossover properties, including Silent Hill content. As reported by Polygon, the developer has been busy posting cryptic clues and a teaser video on their YouTube and social media that indicate the legendary Pinhead himself could be on his way to the game. In slightly better news for fans of Dead By Daylight, the removal of such a popular tie-in may be salved somewhat by the revelation that Behaviour Interactive seems to be teasing some incoming Hellraiser-themed DLC. Check out the trailer at the bottom of the page for a reminder of what's moving on to The Upside Down come November. No official reason has been given for the ending of such a popular crossover although it does seem as though licencing issues are most likely the culprit. According to Behaviour Interactive all of the characters and cosmetics will remain for those who buy them but that Underground Complex map will, sadly, be removed from rotation permanently. ![]() The official Stranger Things tie-in launched back in 2019 and introduced two new survivors, Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler (with Jonathan Byers later added as a 'skin' option for Steve), a new killer in the form of The Demogorgon, as well as the Hawkins National Laboratory Underground Complex map. Take part in their legacy before they go - details here: /BMOq1PsE3f- Dead by Daylight August 16, 2021 Nancy, Steve, and The Demogorgon are leaving the Dead by Daylight store in November, but we're not ready to say goodbye just yet. ▶️ Maybe this could be turned into a full chapter by bringing Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper as survivors to the game.Behaviour Interactive has posted an announcement on the Dead By Daylight website and its official Twitter account that all Stranger Things-related DLC for their hit survival horror game will become unavailable to purchase from 17th November 2021.Īccording to the post, players who already own the Stranger Things content will still have access to their purchases and, in the run up to that 17th November date, a blow out sale - which begins tomorrow (18th August) - will give any interested parties a chance to pick up in-game characters and cosmetics from the Netflix show for 50% off. ▶️ I thought of also bringing a new map, but really bringing back Hawkins Lab would be the best option, I think. ▶️ I apologize for the lazy perk and power icons, as I didn’t have much time to develop original illustrations for those. ▶️ The vines that attack survivors in the Mindscape aren’t too frequent, so it’s not like Pinhead’s Chain Hunt. I wanted to bring the Clocks and his Mindscape dimension to the gameplay, but also provide him with an unique anti-loop. ![]() ▶️ Vecna’s power is definitely up for debate. ▶️ I didn’t want to come up with perks that were OP. Let me know if you have better ideas for that title or if you think The Vecna is fine. I cannot share the link because of the rules of this subreddit.ĭISCLAIMERS: ▶️ I thought of different names for the killer other than The Vecna: The Telepath, for instance. If you want this to become a reality, you can help by signing the petition that’s been going on to bring ST back to DBD. This is but a starting point in the hopes of sparking inspiration for a new DBD x Netflix deal. Please feel free to kindly offer feedback and suggest changes, as I found it very hard to come up with balanced concepts giving all the new stuff that was added to the game in the last few months. Today I bring you a new chapter, or should I say, a paragraph that adds Vecna as a new killer. As the new season of Stranger Things will soon come to an end, it’s only natural that we all wonder what a new DLC of the series could look like. Hi everyone! This is my new concept for Dead by Daylight. ![]()
